James Parry

Company Owner & Sales Director

James, the founder of FIJ Design, studied at Kingston University and graduated with a BA in Product & Furniture Design. He has over 10 years experience in the creative industry, covering everything from website development to commercial interior design and is now a specialist in search engine optimisation and online marketing.

James makes sure the businesses sales and marketing goals are continuously being met for on-going growth of the business. Outside of work, James spends his time downhill mountain biking, snowboarding, wakeboarding and learning to kite surf.

Michael Hutton

Company Owner & Managing Director

Michael became a partner of FIJ Design in 2007 and has advanced qualifications in business management, web and IT. With over 8 years experience in the field of IT, he was formally part of the UK’s top company for data recovery and IT asset management; bringing a wealth of technical and business knowledge to the team.

Michael keeps the business financially on-track and ensures all projects are completed on-time and to the highest standards. In his spare time, Michael enjoys Snooker, Snowboarding, Surfing, Cooking, Motorsport and reading biographies on his favourite entrepreneurs.

Kay Thomas

Sales Manager & Consultant

Kay has recently joined us as a sales manager and consultant and is the latest member to the FIJ Design team. With over 30 years experience in sales and marketing in the graphics, print, displays and signage industries, Kay is a valuable asset in the growth of the web, graphics and print side of the business.

As well as building strong relationships with our clients, Kay also enjoys spending her spare time with her grandchildren and has keen interests in hairdressing, DIY, sketching and ballet.

Pam Parry

Accounts Administrator

Although Pam has recently retired, having worked full time as a school administrator for over 20 years, she now works part time in the FIJ Design office, helping out with the accounts and other day-to-day administrative tasks.

In her spare time, Pam is the official time keeper for the P1 Super Stock Powerboat Races and enjoys travelling as much she can.

Tom Andrews

Search Engine Optimisation Specialist

Tom has years of experience in online marketing and is a specialist in Search Engine Optimisation. His responsibilities include managing our clients SEO accounts and monitoring their daily progress for the best return on their investment.

Tom’s unique skills have helped FIJ Design deliver some truly astonishing successful results for our clients. Outside of work, Tom enjoys Yoga, Cooking, Listening to Music, Fantasy Football, Movies and working out in the gym, amongst many other interests.

Matt Poynter

Graphic Designer

Matthew is a senior graphic designer with over 17 years experience in the graphics, signage and exhibition industry. Having both a HND and OND in Graphic Design, as well as advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Quark, Matt excels at producing exciting and highly creative branding solutions for our clients.

In his spare time, Matt has a huge passion for music, attending gigs and adding to his ever increasing CD collection.

Ben Spear

Graphic Designer

Ben has a growing and varied portfolio as a highly skilled Graphic Designer and Photographer. Graduate of Bath Spa University with a BA in Graphic Communication, Ben is usually found honing his photography skills on live bands in intimate venues around London. At home with designing for screen, motion graphics and print Ben is highly knowledgeable within the Adobe Creative Suite.

When not laying out documents or cropping photos, Ben can be found braving London streets on his push bike, indulging his eclectic musical taste or barbecuing on the terrace.

Sarah Young

Graphic Designer

Sarah started with us in 2010 as a graphic designer, having graduated with a First BA Hons in Advertising & Branding. Since joining the FIJ Design team, Sarah has produced some outstanding designs for our clients, from logos and brand identity through to advertising, illustrations, flyers and brochures.

When she is not working on a new piece of artwork, Sarah enjoys horse riding, live music and keeping fit.

Dan Tyack

Photographer

Dan works with FIJ Design as a professional photographer on both website and graphic design projects. Having achieved a BA Hons in Photography, and several years of experience in the industry, Dan’s skills include digital image re-touching, image manipulation, artwork preparation and has a keen eye for detail.

When Dan is not snapping away, he enjoys football, music, travelling and fashion.

Ian Scott

Web Developer

Ian is a highly skilled web developer and designer with over 10 years experience in the web industry. His programming skills are first class ensuring all our sites meet W3C specification, are multi-browser and mobile device compatible as well as specialising in Google Analytics and A to B website testing.

Paul’s hobbies include football, paintballing, skiing and swimming.

Sam Goddard

Web Developer

Sam is a senior web developer and advanced programmer. He has over 20 years experience developing large ecommerce and CMS platform websites and is continuously involved with developing new features and bespoke additions to our clients systems.

Outside of work Sam likes spending time with his family and watching rugby.
